What's a "StorySpot?" In 2003, it was little more than a brainchild with a limited budget and short
timeline, but lots of potential to do good. Viallo believed in the project and made it happen.

Connecting people with life stories:

Campus Crusade for Christ is a global college ministry organization who had a unique idea for a website called StorySpot.com, but limited time, resources, and budget.

They came to Viallo with an interface design and a rough idea for how StorySpot would work: help students write their life story and create their own StorySpot web page with photos, links, and videos, then categorize the StorySpots to be searched by topic, college, author name, or special group.

Viallo's Rocky Hessler worked with Campus Crusade to define the strategic vision and functional scope, then brought in Domain7 to create new modules, integrate RouteOne applications, and configure Campus Crusade's remote server to run the new site.

In little more than two months, StorySpot was launched on time and on budget, complete with a multi-layered permissions architecture, StorySpot creation and customization wizard, and fully self-managing administration layer.

After a one-year pilot phase, Campus Crusade is planning to scale StorySpot.com in the US and abroad.
